2018
MINUTES TO MANAGERS MEETING
Steve
Leonardo remains President/Treasurer of the League and George Helmstetter remains League Secretary.
Kitchen World
has dropped out of the League citing their long commute. Liberty Contractors
have replaced them in our League with a comparable talented team.
Mercer
Classics have renamed their team as the “Xmen”.
DUES WILL
REMAIN AT $600 FOR EACH TEAM WITH PAYMENT DUE BY JUNE 1st. A late fee will be charged for any team not
in compliance with the due date. Since we will tap into our reserves, the new
team (Liberty) will also be charged a one-time initiation fee of $50 as their
contribution to our reserve.
Lenny’s group
will be retained as our umpires.
The League
has been reorganized into 3 divisions, predicated on last year’s records and
past history. More games against similar talented opponents will make the
League more competitive for all teams.
We are
waiting to confirm assigned fields and start dates with Mercer Park before we
can issue our schedules.
Winning teams
are reminded to text, phone, or e-mail George Helmstetter
with scores immediately following their games in this anticipated highly competitive season.
IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT ALL PITCHERS WEAR A PROTECTIVE MASK WHILE PITCHING. This is a safety precaution and may become mandatory in the future.
