Robert J. Kruse

(May 30, 1940 - November 10, 2013)

Mt. Arlington: Robert James Kruse passed away on November 10, 2013 at his home surrounded by family. He was 73 years of age.

Mr. Kruse was born in Weehawken to the late Bernard and Anita Kruse and grew up in Union City. He has lived in Mt. Arlington for the past 40 years.

Prior to his retirement in 2004, Robert worked as an IT Systems Manager for several companies including Lummus Engineering and UPS.

Bob loved life and was happy doing everything, especially playing softball and photography. He played softball most of his life and after retiring would play over 120 games a year. He would make an annual trip to Florida to play in a winter camp. He also has played softball in the Senior Olympics winning medals in California and Kentucky. He enjoyed taking pictures and perfecting them using Photoshop.

He is survived by: Loving wife Carol (nee Steffens) of 51½ years.

Son: David and wife Aysel of Stockholm, NJ.

Daughter: Lauren Kedzierski and husband Mike of Schwenksville, PA.
