B-Divison
MOLLY MAGUIRE'S 9, CONTACT LENS & VISION 5
Taking a 2 to 0 lead into the 5th inning, Glenn Zuhl hit a monstrous, fence clearing 3 run home run to apparently hoist The Mollies into a comfortable lead.  However, the Lensmen put up a 5 spot of their own in the bottom of the 5th to tie up the contest.  With key hits by Al Burton, Dick McKay, Dave Drechsel, Pat Ahern and Vic Trindade, and an intentional walk to Glenn Zuhl, the victors scored 4 more runs in their half of the 7th inning.  The Lensmen got 2 men on with 1 out in the bottom of the inning, but a game ending double play, started by Pat Ahern, sealed the victory for pitcher Bill Hinkle. Dick McKay with 3 runs scored, Dave Drechsel with a double, 2 runs scored and 3 RBI’s, and Vic Trindade all went 3 for 3 for the division champions. Molly Maguire's has defeated Contact Lens & Vision two games to none to win the 50+ B Division playoff title.
