Thirsty Turtle 21 Dowling’s Tavern 18
It was a back-and-forth battle between these B division rivals that took extra innings to determine a winner.  Thirsty Turtle was up 5-2 heading into the bottom of the 3rd inning when Dowling's put up a 6 spot thanks to a Grand Slam by Ricky Gregorio. The Turtle would go back up 11-10 heading into the bottom of the 5th when Dowling's scored 6 runs on 9 consecutive singles.  Turtle would once again answer back with 6 runs of their own in the top of the 6th.  Down by 2 runs with 2 outs and nobody on in the bottom of the 7th, Dowling's was able to come back and tie the game thanks to a clutch 2-run hit by Carl Herman which sent the game to extra innings.  Thirsty Turtle would score 3 runs in the top of the 8th to take the lead as Dowling's was retired in order in the bottom of the 8th to end the game.

Terawulf 19  Sonia’s BCE 17
Sammy Morla crushed a 3-run, walk-off Homer in the bottom of the 8th inning to complete the comeback victory over Sonia's BCE on a scorching hot night at Tremley Field in Linden. It was Morla's second moon shot in a game where Terawulf never led until the final at bat. Sonia's, playing with a skeleton crew of 9 players, built a 14-6 lead behind a 3-run home run and 2-run double by Dave Strochak (5 RBIs) and clutch hitting by Jory Domiguez (3-4) Dionis Ramirez (3-4), while Augustin Espin, Miguel and Richard Merette also had 3 hits apiece. Terawulf woke up late to tie the score at 14 after 6 innings but Sonia's short-handed crew added 1 run to take a 15-14 lead. Terawulf would not go quietly and tied the game in the bottom of the 7th. Sonias added 2 insurance runs in top of 8th, retaking the lead 17-14, when Terawulf rallied to close it to 17-16 with 2 men on for Morlas’ game winning Homer.
