Awnings Galore 18,  Rocky’s Bar & Grill 3
After falling behind 2-0 in the opening inning, Awnings Galore stormed back in dominant fashion to roll past Rocky’s Bar & Grill 18-3. Strong pitching from Danny Mendoza, backed by solid defense, held the Barmen to just one run the rest of the way while the Awnings offense erupted inning after inning.   Once Awnings settled in, the bats took over completely. Rich Traub, Jerry Isolda, and Rich Polonitza led the attack with three hits apiece. Billy Hillyer doubled among his two hits, John Tomasulo ripped two triples, and Mike Carnevale blasted a double and a triple. Danny Mendoza helped his own cause with a homer, while Paul Newton also went deep. Ozzie Osborn and Tom Beninato added two hits each in the balanced offensive explosion. Rocky’s had a few bright spots early as Geno Raisley and Carl Herman stayed hot at the plate, each going 2-for-2. James Masserrelli also finished 2-for-2, while Dennis Maluchnik, John Llano, Steve Falco, Tomas Cruiz, and Dante Brando each chipped in with a hit.   
Damage Inc 14,  Kenilworth VFW 6
Damage Inc. outlasted Kenilworth in a hard-fought battle. Kenilworth came out swinging early, plating six runs in the top of the 1st inning, only to see Damage answer immediately with six runs of their own in the bottom half.  After the explosive opening frame, the pitchers settled in as both teams traded scoreless innings. Dave P. Handleman was outstanding for Damage, shutting down the powerful Kenilworth lineup over the next three innings and keeping the game tied. In the bottom of the 5th, Damage finally broke through with two runs to grab the lead. Jose Cortes followed with a shutdown inning in the top of the 6th before Damage erupted again, scoring six more runs to put the game away and secure the victory.  Leading the offensive attack for Damage Inc. were Scott Graham (2-for-3), Arando Calderon (2-for-2), Fred Marchev (2-for-2), Dave Rothenberg (2-for-2), Lloyd Haymes (2-for-2), and rookie Richie, who also finished a perfect 2-for-2 at the plate.
Swan Hotel 28, Deegan Roofing 10
The potent Swan lineup was in full force this evening as the Hotel men grabbed a decisive victory over Deegan Roofing. Hitting Stars for Deegan included James Nardello (3-4, HR), Nick Mennona (3-4, HR), John Garced (3-3), Nick Russo (3-3), Marty Bernstein (3-3). Tom Baldowski went 2-2 including a long home run, and Doug Fischer pitched and fielded a great game from the mound. Bill Buteau, Walt Korzeb, Brian Dayton, and Pat Nigro had two hits each for the Roofers.
 AJ Jersey 11, Linwood Boys 10
After falling behind 8–1 through the first two innings, AJ Jersey stormed back with a relentless rally, eventually tying the game at 10–10 heading into the bottom of the seventh inning.  In the dramatic final frame, Steve Hobson sparked the offense with a clutch double. With two outs, Ted Campanello delivered the game-winning hit, singling home Hobson to give AJ Jersey a thrilling walk-off victory over the Linwood Boys.   The Linwood Boys swung the bats well despite the loss. Carl Gamba paced the offense with three hits, while Mike DiRienzo, Chris Kaminski, Juan Moreno, and Joe Sarica each added two hits in the hard-fought contest.
Swan Hotel 27, Damage Inc. 12
The Swan bats stayed red hot as they pounded out 33 hits, including 14 extra base hits and 5 home runs. Perfect nights at the plate came from James Nardello (4-4, 2 HR), Tim Gandy (4-4, HR), Bone McMahon (4-4, HR), Kevin Spellman (4-4), Brian Latham (3-3, HR), Mike Rzewuski (3-3), Bernie Maguire (3-3). Jimmy Jimenez pitched a strong game and picked up the win.   A shorthanded Damage Inc held a 7-6 lead after 2 innings. The Swannies then plated 21 over the next 4 to end the game. The offensive leaders for Damage Inc were Marty Joyce (3-4 with 2 3B), Anardo Caldero0, and Fred Marchev (2 for3).
Deegan Roofing 13, Yogi’s Boys 8
The Deegan Roofers used strong defense and timely hitting to hold off the Yogi’s offense for the 13-8 win. Powering the Roofers attack were home runs from Don Miller, Brian Dayton, and Bill Buteau. Louie Balestrierre and Art Paradise each collected three hits, while Pat Nigro turned in a perfect night at the plate, going 4for4 for Deegan.
AJ Jersey 24, Rocky’s Bar & Grill 12
Joe Killburg led the charge going 3-4  with 3 RBIs while fielding a slick 2nd base.  For Rocky's, Dennis Maluchnik and Geno Raisley both had 3 hits while Steve Falco, James Massarelli, Gary Epstein and Frank Verducci chipped in with 2 hits each in the losing effort.
Linwood Boys 26, DeBellis 11
The Linwood Boys used balanced hitting and solid pitching from Jim Donaghue and starts from Pat Mooney and Sal Iannaccone to defeat Bobby's Debellis Boys 26-11.  Linwood was led by the hot hitting of Carl Gamba, Mike DiRienzo, Ed Rodriguez, Geno Antonucci, JoeCaliguari, JuanMoreno, and Joe Menza
Kenilworth VFW 13, Awnings Galore 7
In a tightly contested battle, Kenilworth VFW outlasted Awnings Galore by a final score of 13-7.   Awnings came out swinging early, building a 5-2 advantage after two innings behind timely hitting and aggressive offense. But the Kenilworth Veterans steadily chipped away at the deficit, finally pulling ahead 8-7 after four innings and never looked back.  The Vets created some breathing room in the fifth inning by plating two key runs, then put the game away in the sixth when Greg Thomas ripped a clutch double that drove in the final three runs of the night.  Kenilworth’s offense was paced by Don Montefusco, who turned in a four-hit performance. Greg Hartnett and Dave Ball each added three hits apiece in a balanced attack for the Veterans.  For Awnings Galore, Billy Hillyer, Danny Mendoza, and Tom Beninato each collected three hits to lead the offense. Richie Traub and John Tomasulo added two hits each, with Tomasulo blasting a triple while Tom Renna chipped in with a double.
