NJSSA 2010 70’S TOURNAMENT

The NJSSA 70's One Day Tournament was played in Old Bridge on Wednesday, July 28^th with teams from Middlesex, Monmouth, Ocean, Morris and Union participating.

Congratulations to all teams participating in the 5^th Annual 70's NJSSA One Day Tournament. This year, four teams tied for 1^st place with records of 2 and 1. Since we do NOT have playoffs to determine a Champion, we use the SSUSA tie breakers for both head to head and least runs allowed. MORRIS COUNTY is the State Champion.

We are looking forward to an even more successful Tournament in 2011 and are asking for comments on how this Tournament can become even more successful. All suggestions will be considered. Presently it seems that our two main issues are: (1) Players and who/whom they can play for RESIDENCY, (2) Not quite as big an issue as #1, “Illegal Bats".
