NJSSA 2012 50'S TOURNAMENT

FINAL RESULTS

After being rained out in 2011, the NJSSA 50's Tournament was played under partly cloudy skies at Linden's Memorial Park and Tremley Fields. In the “A” Division finals, Preferred Freezer (Middlesex), who lost to the Roselle Legion (Union) team earlier 17-13, turned the tables 5-2 to win the Championship game. Strong pitching and excellent defense carried the day.  In the “B” Division finals, Stick with Perfection (Morris), making their first NJSSA Tournament appearance, went undefeated beating Check X Change (Middlesex) in the Championship game. The “C” Division was all Middlesex with Metuchen Savings sweeping the Drifters 18-5 and 12-4.

Congratulations to the Champions and all of the teams that entered the Tournament. See you all next year and bring some additional teams from your County Leagues.
