NJSSA State 50's Tournament July 29-30 in Linden

 

The 50s State Tournament was a huge success this year with 5 Teams participating.

 

Linden Memorial Fields #2 and #3 were used from 9am until approximately 5pm.

A Division played Best of 3

B Division played Bracket Play then Semi and Finals Guarantee 3 Games Total 5 Games.

 

There were a lot of exciting games as well as a lot of fans on hand.  Pete Osborne UCSSL President and State Committee Member was also present to watch the Tournament.

 

No Problems Reported at any of the Fields Saturday by anyone or Umpires.  All players liked the Rules, Umpires, Format, Softballs, etc.

Princeton Van          1^st     Mercer (Champions)

Pinebelt                     2^nd   Monmouth

 

Note: 2 other interested A Teams dropped out over the past week because of not enough players available: Kitchen World Mercer and Park Diner Morris.

 

B Division

Lindas Driftwood      1^st     Union (Champions)

American Legion-    2^nd    Union

Redhawks                 3^rd     Morris
