Steven M. Adase

Steven M. Adase died Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2013, at home surrounded by his loving family at the age of 58.  Visitation was held at the Gosselin Funeral Home, Edison, NJ. Funeral services were at St John Vianney R.C. Church in Colonia, NJ.  Entombment is at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.

Mr. Adase was a vice president for Alent Inc. of Somerset, NJ, for 27 years. He was a member of the Union County 50's senior softball league for Linda’s I and Linwood Inn and was referred to as "Clipper" by his teammates.

Steven was a 1977 graduate of the University of Miami. Steven was predeceased by his mother, Mary Ann Adase. Surviving are his wife of 24 years, Joann (Kucsera) Adase; his son, Scott Steven Adase; his father, Joseph Adase of Linden, N.J.; two brothers, Joseph and his wife, Marie Adase, of Colonia, N.J., and Michael Adase of Westfield, N.J., also five nieces, Michelle, Krysten, Danielle, Leanne, and Melissa, and two nephews, Nicholas and Joseph; mother-in-law, Mary Lou Kucsera of Avenel, N.J.; sisters-in-law, Gail Lopes, Sharon Caruso, and her husband, Bill, and his beloved goldens, Hanna and Abby.
