Dennis J. Epperly, 63, of North Haledon, NJ passed away on Friday, July 13, 2018. Born in Paterson, NJ, he was a lifelong resident of North Haledon. A passionate and active softball player, he was a member of the Bombers of Livingston, E-Z Way, Park Wayne, the Morris County 50 and Over League and participated in the Cape Cod Tournament. Dennis was a loyal NY Yankee and Giants fan.

 

He was a driver and courier for several local companies.

 

He is survived by his brother Douglas Epperly and step sister Nadine Landi and husband Al. Loving uncle of his Godson Jason, Dillon and Damon. Dear cousin of Kim Anzaldo-Russo and Celeste Marino. He leaves behind many dear cousins, loyal friends. and Nico, his beloved canine companion. Predeceased by his parents, Harold and Viola”Vi” (Giannotti) Epperly

 

The family will receive relatives and friends Tuesday, July 17, 2018, 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial Home, 530 High Mountain Road, Franklin Lakes, NJ, (201) 891-4770. A funeral service is planned for Wednesday, July 18, 2018, 10 am at the funeral home. Cremation will be private.
