Joseph G. Viola

Joseph G. Viola, 55, of Middletown, died Wednesday, May 25, 2011, in Red Bank. He was born in New York, N.Y. and lived in Holmdel before settling in Middletown. Joseph worked as the director of quality for New Brunswick Scientific in Edison. Joseph was a loving husband, father, and brother. He spent time coaching baseball in Middletown, as well as playing in a local softball league. He was an avid Yankees and Giants fan, as well as a fan of Farmville. He will be dearly missed.

Surviving are his wife of 30 years, Nancy Viola; 2 sons, James and Nicholas Viola; mother, Laurette Viola; 2 brothers, Frank Viola, Anthony and his wife Maury Viola; sister, Maria and her husband Tom Tuttle. Joseph was preceded in death by his father, Vincent James Viola.

Visitation will be held Saturday, May 28, 2011 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:30 pm at the funeral home.
